David Harris is the President
of Harris Beattie MacLennan & Co. Limited, a Halifax-based
management consulting firm with clients from across Canada and the
US specializing in providing assistance in tax planning, practice
transition and healthcare economics. |

In addition to his
undergraduate and graduate degrees in business obtained from
Dalhousie University, David holds professional designations in
accounting, banking and consulting. |

He is a member of the Canadian
Tax Foundation and has presented papers at the national conference
of this organization and is also a member of the prestigious
international Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

David is
a faculty member at the Canadian Tax Foundation’s annual Estate
Planning Course, an intensive course designed to provide lawyers
and accountants specializing in taxation with the most advanced
estate planning information. |

David is a frequent lecturer in
the areas of tax, practice management and financial planning. His
articles have appeared in a number of professional journals.
